The Political Globes
Hollywood’s Liberal La La Land
Is it ever possible to just have an award show, where the central theme is *gasp* awards, and art? Everything revolves around politics, and if you’re an “out of touch” celebrity as Marky Mark said, (http://www.mediaite.com/online/mark-wahlberg-celebrities-shouldnt-talk-about-politics-so-much-pretty-out-of-touch/) well then your Golden Globes night was spent bashing Trump, and a little over half your fan base. To start off, let’s talk about Meryl Streep, instead of using her platform to talk about her award, or even to talk about the awful attack on an innocent white disabled young man, by four African Americans, she felt it necessary to talk about Trump. Saying the following: “There was one performance this year that stunned me, it sank its hooks in my heart. Not because it was good. There was nothing good about it…It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter…” She then blabbed on about bullying, which I find hilariously ironic, when her speech, along with Hillary Clinton’s entire campaign, and all the other liberals in Hollywood, repeatedly bashed on Republicans, over and over and over again. Lest we forget when Hillary mocked Catholics, called all Trump supporters deplorable, said “needy Latinos” and southern rednecks. That’s funny, really, Meryl, Trump’s bullying rhetoric? You’ve got to be kidding me. Hollywood is a joke, and everyone is seeing straight through it. Streep also said “…disrespect incites disrespect. Violence incites violence.” When the powerful use their permission to bully others, we all lose.” (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/arts-and-entertainment/wp/2017/01/08/meryl-streep-called-out-donald-trump-at-the-golden-globes-read-her-speech-here/?utm_term=.8ca8e7c9ca17) Really, so was the poor disabled young man who was tortured for hours on end, did he ever incite violence on those monsters? Or how about the four Dallas police officers who were murdered, did they ever incite violence? Being as how all law enforcement officers, along with the military are there to protect and serve, I think you’re mistaken. Oh wait, she must be referring to all of those Trump supporters who were paid by the RNC to incite violence at Hillary’s rallies… Oh that’s right, it was Hillary supporters who were paid by the DNC to go in and start fights with the Trump supporters. That must be the “tolerant left” everyone is referring to, haha right, you people are the most hypocritical people in the US. It’s a shame really.
Streep also threw some shade towards MMA, which got the people who are apart of the MMA community, ready to take her down. Dana White, who is the president of the UFC called Streep “an uppity 80-year-old” and said that of course MMA is a form of art, White said “…saying something stupid like that is like saying…she’s not a talented actress which she is.” (http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/01/09/meryl-streep-angers-nfl-mma-fans-with-golden-globes-dig.html)
Senior Trump Advisor, Kellyanne Conway, fired back at Streep’s moronic speech by asking why can’t people give Trump the benefit of the doubt? Instead of paying so much attention to the blunt way Trump says things, why not take a second to think about what is in his heart, and how much he loves his country. Kellyanne also told Ainsley Earhardt this morning on Fox and Friends “I’m glad that Meryl Streep has such a passion for the disabled because I didn’t hear her weigh in and I didn’t hear her even use her platform last night, Ainsley, to give a shout out to the mentally challenged boy who last week was tortured live on Facebook for half an hour, by four young African-American adults who were screaming racial and anti-Trump expletives and forcing him to put his head in toilet water, so I’d like to hear from her today, if she wants to come and continue [her] platform on behalf of the disabled.” Point one for Kellyanne! Conservative radio host Dana Loesch commented this morning saying “ ‘Hollywood is the most vilified,’ says Meryl. “Sorry for your struggle,” said all the unborn babies and cops killed in 2016. #DanaRadio (https://twitter.com/DLoesch/status/818527662968885278?lang=en) The creators of “Zootopia” felt the need to explain their message of their poorly written animated movie, which is all about diversity, “at a time when some would use fear to divide people.” (http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/09/entertainment/golden-globes-review/) You people made a children’s movie… about bunnies, please don’t bother lecturing the rest of us about how scared you are that Trump uses “fear to divide people”, which he doesn’t.
Hollywood needs a resolution for 2017. It should start with, shutting up about politics, and quit using your platforms to discuss politics. We do not go and see your movies because we want to hear your thoughts on our new president or politics at all. We go for the plot and the characters, those of which make up the entertainment. If Hollywood keeps this up, they aren’t going to have a lot of fans left. Being as how more than half the US population picked Trump as their pick for president. All you will be left with is Michael Moore, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, and Martin Sheen. Have fun with that stellar group of liberal loons.
